A Moment Captured Photography

{hmmm....two sweet boys....right up my alley!}

after many hot, or cold, or windy baseball practices/games, we have gotten to know this sweet family as our oldest two play bb together.  but, the little guy recently turned one and due to the never-ending rain, we finally got to do this very delayed session.  the boys are amazingly sweet and both have the best eyes ever!

{sweet siblings}

little sister was not too happy with us for a) waking her up and b) not having mommy in her view and c) clarification to "b" not being in mommy's arms.  she is the sweetest thing ever, but, LOVES her mommy!!!  so, here are a few........still so precious and a great reminder of "this phase" as it too shall pass all too quickly.  maybe, then, i'll get to hold her when she's awake. ;) love all three of these babies!!!  and, besides the lipstick questions, the middle little man also wanted to know why i loved him so much?  i never know what he will ask me, but, i gave him a list of reasons without any thought. :)

she did fall asleep afterwards, so, I did get to hold her.....:)

such a beautiful and fun family!  I giggled so much as I watched these three run in circles that I had to remind myself not to allow the camera to shake!  Three little ones, four years and under!  and, they do what kids do best......run, play and laugh!  It was great!  But, they were f-a-s-t, so I really had to try and keep up. ;)

{sweet family}

The children are cousins to one of my summer brides.  The entire family is just precious.....and, these two are no exception.  I had so much fun on this evening!  The setting was beautiful and so were these two, well, one was handsome! ;) 

And, these uploads are very poor in quality......but, just to give you an idea of what is to come.....

It's been a busy, busy week - but so much fun!  I'll apologize now for the poor blog quality!  If I can ever find the time to switch over to the new site...

With the first set......two boys......I was definitely in my element.   There were lots of giggles and "brotherly love" to be shared. ;)  Such a sweet, sweet family.   And, truly beautiful in so many ways a  camera could never capture.  

This little E........reminded me of my little E!

Next up......my dream of three little boys!!!  I photographed the twins as newborns and as much as they have changed and grown - I could still look hard enough and see them and their little mannerisms from that day.  Big brother joined in with us tonight as did mom & dad.   One of the greatest gifts I've had on this endeavor has without a doubt been the paths I've crossed.   It's so hard for me to consider so many of my clients as clients.....especially when you have such sweetness in a family. 

If I had a photograph of the week........this would be it!  Likely the Year and beyond!  Look at that face!  Was he sticking his tongue out at me? :)   Truly priceless....

And, last, but definitely not least.....remember the tutu over the head last year? Well this is what we got last night......  no tutu's over the head, but close. :)  The kids were great!  Of course, I had so many things that I wanted to do, but simply ran out of time (or light actually)   She was all giggles, and he was filled with all sorts of trivia.   I learned alot about a man who lives in China. ;)

{golden light}

Tonight was the perfect example of why I try to hold out for the light.  Clouds can be good in their own way, good but so different.  I think I drive my clients insane about lighting......but look why....

 

But, all the light does is highlight the subjects.  And, what sweet girly subjects I've had.  I think mom S and I have been emailing back and forth since probably last January.  Dates had to be changed, the last one as it was 110 degrees out there!  But, I hope she finds that it was worth the wait.  The girls were amazing!!!!  I could follow them around with a camera all day, every day.  Well, at least when the sun starts going down. :)

we avoided rain (the fear was on my part due to the recent downpours and reschedules)  These sisters are amazingly beautiful and truly define sweetness.   Little L was full of giggles and big sister L was up for anything.  Here are a few from last night (& T, remember my caution about the blog quality)

I had a great time last night with .......FOUR adorable handsome boys!   Some of the most well-mannered boys I've ever been around, truly!  It's funny, because as the night progressed.....I was able to see each of their personalities....so much fun!  Here are just a few and more can be seen under Galleries - Recent Child Fav's....

I caught the boys doing this (behind me) - so "boy" and made them freeze as I fell into the ditch to try to "get it" - they ran out of the rock ledge..... and, I think at that point were pretty convinced I was nuts! :)
