I had planned on giving a big update of sessions, edits, etc since I had vanished due to "the season". My last orders arrived today, so I was about to settle in and enjoy the rest of the season.
But, instead I got a terrible phone call that a sweet friend passed away suddenly today. I have sat in utter shock. My heart is broken. It is so surreal. I grew up with Jill and had gotten to know her so much better over the past 2-3 years when our children attended MDO together. Today, I've remembered our conversation as I took her babies pictures last year. I remember her laugh. I remember her happiness when she saw them. I remember deliverying them to her. I remember seeing her over this past year. I remember seeing her for what would be my last time.
I will never understand this. It is such a huge loss - it's just not right.
Please take the time to pray for the Jill Jones-Holcomb family. For her husband Kenny and her sweet little ones, Chloe and Chaz as well as her precious mom and dad.
My heart is shattered as are so many others.....
